The Sightings page and @Nottsbirders Twitter feed are intended to alert birders to scarcer species that they might be interested in seeing within the County.
Records of more common species are still very important, but should preferably be submitted to the county Recorder Keith Rainford Bullfinch194@gmail.com These records will then be added to the Nottinghamshire Birdwatchers data-base, to be included in the monthly Newsletter and Annual Reports.
None of these reports have been verified or checked by the Nottinghamshire Birdwatchers' Records Committee.

Linby - Yellow-browed Warbler [probable picked up on call and seen very briefly, loosely associating with mobile tit flock moving through scrub and trees adjacent to the traffic roundabout in the village 12:45, heard again about 1 hour 30 mins later again loosely associated with the mobile tit flock].

Holme Pierrepont - Great White Egret [Blotts Pit, then flew towards A52 pit c.15:15]; also Goldeneye, Stonechat.
Hoveringham - Water Rail, Woodcock, Cetti’s warbler, Chiffchaff [Railway Pit and Wood mid to late morning].
King's Mill Reservoir - Pintail [eclipse drake still], Goldeneye, 18 Snipe.
