Calverton - Springwater Restaurant: 1 Barn Owl [23:00 over field behind restaurant towards Epperstone], 1 Tawny Owl [23:00 called once].

Attenborough Nature Reserve - 5 Common Raven [east, early morning], Squacco Heron [showing well at times - near sailing club, under railway bridge on river Erewash].

Budby Pumping Station - 1 Red Kite [heading east - mobbed Carrion Crows at 10:25], c.4 Woodlark [singing and showing well], 250 Eurasian Starling, 50 Fieldfare, 1 Eurasian Nuthatch, 1 Yellowhammer, 3 Tree Sparrow .

Besthorpe NWT - South: 3 Common Snipe, 2 Green Sandpiper, 150 Fieldfare.

Keyworth Nature Park - Fieldfare, Redwing, Bullfinch, Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Common Buzzard, Carrion Crow, Magpie, Woodpigeon, Common Pheasant, Robin, Wren, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Dunnock, Tree Sparrow, Yellowhammer, Eurasian Starling, Greenfinch, Song Thrush, Mistle Thrush, Rook Magpie.

King's Mill reservoir- 5 Cormorant, 6 Common Snipe, Siskin, Lesser Redpoll, 1 Black-necked Grebe, 1 Mediterranean Gull [1st winter].

Besthorpe NWT - South: 2 Northern Pintail.

Kilvington Lakes - 1 Yellow-legged Gull [adult].

Clumber Park - 5 Eurasian Jay, 30+ Redwing [over].

Attenborough Nature Reserve - Bittern [flew from reeds - in front of tower hide at 18:00], Common Kingfisher, Eurasian Teal, Eurasian Wigeon, 2 Common Goldeneye [male and female], Northern Shoveler, 3 Common Snipe, Northern Lapwing, Yellow-legged Gull, Common Gull, Black-headed Gull, Great Black-backed Gull, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Herring Gull [juvenile], Honey Buzzard [probable, low over the reserve mid-morning - classic Honey profile - long tail and Cuckoo-like head - through reserve to the east being mobbed constantly. Three birders on hand all considered ‘Honey’, despite the lateness], Common Pochard, Egyptian Goose, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Redwing, Fieldfare, Eurasian Jay, Eurasian Sparrowhawk.

Carburton - Cormorant, 2 Great Crested Grebe.

Eakring - 60 Pink-footed Goose [over west at 09:15], 150 Fieldfare [through south-west in an hour], 350 Redwing [350 [through west in an hour], 1 Common Raven, 15 Lesser Redpoll.

Penny Pasture - 3 Barn Swallow [through south], 1 Willow Tit, 300 Linnet.

Newsted and Annesley Country Park - 1 Black-necked Grebe, 1 Yellow-legged Gull [adult], 3 Brambling [over].

King's Mill Reservoir - 4 Cormorant, 3 Eurasian Wigeon, 10 Gadwall, 16 Eurasian Teal, 178 Northern Lapwing, 5 Common Snipe, Chiffchaff, 2 Goldcrest, Lesser Redpoll.

Attenborough Nature Reserve - Cormorant [French ringed bird], 2 Common Kingfisher [river and Tween Scrape], Eurasian Teal, Eurasian Wigeon, 23 Fieldfare [through], Long-tailed Tit [plenty], Yellow-legged Gull [Tween Scrape], Common Pochard.

Stapleford - 6 Skylark [over - calling].

Attenborough Nature Reserve - Tween Pond: 2 Black-tailed Godwit, Yellow-legged Gull, Lesser Black-Backed Gull. Bund: Great Spotted Woodpecker, Treecreeper. Clifton Pond: Green Sandpiper, Reed Warbler.

Gedling Pit - 6 Bullfinch [5 males]. Plus: Clouded Yellow butterfly.

Clumber Park - 3 Eurasian Jay, Common Kestrel.

Cuckney - 12 Red-legged Partridge [Buskeyfield Lane].

Kinoulton- Northern Wheatear [pair], 100-150 Linnet, 2 Common Buzzard, 4 Yellowhammer, Green Woodpecker, 3 Lesser Black-backed Gull.
