Radford - Merlin [female flew fast and low along the back gardens of the south end of Western Boulevard, the last stretch before the University's Jubilee Campus].
Netherfield Lagoons - 120 Redwing, 70 Fieldfare, Merlin [female]. Large Gravel Pit: 70 Eurasian Wigeon, Common Buzzard. Slurry Lagoon: Yellow-legged Gull, 2 Golden Plover .Thu 29th Nov
Collingham - Northern Lapwing, Golden Plover [very large flock with Lapwings], 9 Grey Heron, 1 Red-crested Pochard [male], 2 Common Snipe, 3 Common Redshank, 1 Common Pochard [male], 1 Goldeneye [male], 1 Little Grebe, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Barn Owl, 8 Long-tailed Tit, 6 Fieldfare, Shoveler, Mallard, Tufted Duck, Eurasian Teal.
Nottingham City Centre - 1 Peregrine [scruffy individual on Newton Building].
Attenborough Nature Reserve - Main Pit: 8 Goosander. Clifton Pit: Common Snipe, 37 Fieldfare. Barton Side: Common Buzzard, Red-tailed Hawk.
Penny Pasture Common - 1 Jack Snipe, 4 Common Snipe, c.80 Fieldfare.Wed 28th Nov
Clifton Grove - Holme Pit: Cetti's Warbler [calling again 15:30-15.45, seen very briefly but very elusive, Bittern seen at 15:20 [flew up out of the reed-bed and down again. Very elusive - only short flight views seen in the last few days].

Clifton Grove - Holme Pit: Cetti's Warbler [heard calling twice at 16:00 from the far left corner of the pit but couldn't be located], Bittern [seen very briefly in flight at 16:15], 5 Water Rail, Tawny Owl [calling in Clifton Wood].

Colwick Woods - Merlin [regular female bird wintering in the wood], Great Spotted Woodpecker, Nuthatch.
Nottingham General Cemetery - Brambling [male feeding with Chaffinches].
Collingham - New Workings: 1 Red-crested Pochard [male], 11 Common Goldeneye, 3 Common Redshank, 1 Chiffchaff, c.250 Fieldfare [in area], c.100 Redwing [in area].

Clifton Grove - Bittern [showing well at 13:00 on Holme Pit], 7 Water Rail [calling], 60+ Siskin, 1 Brambling [in the Alder Plantation].
Hucknall - adjacent to Old Linby Pit Tip and Allotments: Bullfinch [1 male & 2 females], Goldfinch [numerous], c.5 Greenfinch, c.5 Chaffinch, 1 Coal Tit, 6+ Long-tailed Tit, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Blackbird, 1 Wren, c.3 Dunnock, c.5 House Sparrow, 10 Starling, 1 Robin, 2 Collared Dove, 1 Woodpigeon, 1 Jay, c.5 Magpie.

Colwick Country Park - 41 Shoveler [17 on Hall Lake and 24 on Trout Lake], 5 Red-crested Pochard, Mandarin, Goldeneye, 26 Gadwall, 19 Eurasian Wigeon [West Lake], Merlin [flying across the lake].
Hoveringham - Glaucous Gull [from 13:30 to 14:45 a first winter was present on the Sailing Lake and was constantly mobbed by Black-headed Gulls from around 14:45. Eventually headed SE], 2 Whooper Swan [present on the field to the left of the Sailing Club lane and present all afternoon].Fri 23rd Nov

Clifton Grove - Bittern [seen in flight at 09:00 and again out in the open showing well at 16:15 until dusk], 6 Water Rail [calling], 7 Stonechat.
Colwick Woods - 1 Merlin [female on prey in the wood, feeding on a Starling].
Attenborough Nature Reserve - Bittern [flew in from right and landed in reeds opposite Delta hide at 12:20], Jay, 2 Goosander [Works Pond], 2 Common Goldeneye [male on Clifton Pond and another on main pond].Fri 16th Nov

Budby Common - 2 Raven [southern stand of conifers], 2 Stonechat, Common Crossbill [western stand of conifers], Budby Pumping Station: 7 Tree Sparrow, 3 Woodlark.
Attenborough Nature Reserve - 2 Bittern [roosting at front of reedbed 60m apart, one to left of, and one well to the right of the hide till dark at 16:45].
Kegworth [Leicestershire] - Long Lane: Redwing, c.150 Fieldfare, Little Owl [in tree by model aircraft field].
Sawley Marina [Leicestershire] - c.50 Eurasian Wigeon [feeding in nearby gravel pit], 6 Tree Sparrow [on feeders].

Thoresby - Great Grey Shrike [a second Great Grey Shrike in the area seen within private grounds of Thoresby Park approx 1 mile from Budby. This second bird seems much more approachable than Budby bird].
Collingham - South of RSPB hide: 1 Kingfisher, 2 Goldcrest, 4 Goldfinch, 1 Barn Owl [north of hide flying from fencepost to fencepost].
Colwick Woods - Goldcrest, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Green Woodpecker. Nottingham Racecourse: Common Snipe, 2 Stonechat, 7 Meadow Pipit. Hall Lake: 7 Shoveler, Grey Wagtail [hall roof]. Nottingham City Centre - 50+ Pied Wagtail [on roof of Chapel Quarter, Mount Street and nearby buildings].
Beeston - 17 Whooper Swan [flew over Beeston weir at 07:30 heading in the direction of Attenborough], 2 Goosander [females also on the weir].
Attenborough Nature Reserve - 31 Tree Sparrow [seen leaving roost site], 3 Water Rail [calling continuously on Holme Pit just prior to first light].
