- Sun 27th Nov: Lound - The imm/female Long-tailed Duck still present at Tiln GPs. Also of note a probable 'hybrid' Wigeon species resembling an immature drake American Wigeon was still present there, having been previously noted on a couple of occasions since the previous Sunday.

- Wed 23rd Nov: High Marnham - 300 Fieldfares feeding on hawthorn bushes been chased by Peregrine.
- Wed 23rd Nov: Attenborough - Female Stonechat [Wheatear Field], Treecreeper, female Red crested Pochard [Church Pond], 15 Goosanders.
- Tue 22nd Nov: Silverhill Park - Mixed flock of Goldfinch, Siskin + a few Lesser Redpolls on alders, in the conservation area behind main pond. Mostly Goldfinch, + 20/30 Siskin and 5/6 L/Redpoll - c140 birds in total
- Tue 22nd Nov: East Leake GP - Bullfinch and Grey Wagtail along path to Rempstone- also 3 Little Grebe on lake
- Tue 22nd Nov: Attenborough - Bittern[from delta hide,14.00 to 14.30],Corn Bunting,Stonechat,Goosander x22[main pond],Siskin.
- Mon 21st Nov: Kingsmill Reservoir - 0730 3,000+ Black headed Gulls in and around the reservoir, c100 Jackdaw east, 3 small groups of Golden Plover going west, c50 in total.
- Mon 21st Nov: Clipstone Forest - c10 Crossbills, green females and red males feeding off pine cones with c6 Siskins. Leave the A614 to the west, opposite the Eakring turn and follow track to the parking area just past 2 houses, about half a mile in total. Walk north along labled cycle track to the 2nd tracked intersection. Crossbills feeding on trees immediately north of the track. Also in the immediate area Coal Tit, Goldcrest, Siskin, Great spotted Woodpecker.
- Mon 21st Nov: City Centre - Peregrine perched on Newton Building, Nottingham Trent University, at 1pm
- Mon 21st Nov: Attenborough - Redhead Smew [west end of Main Pit], 2 Stonechats [Wheatear Field], female Scaup/Anythya hybrid [Church Pit].
- Sun 20th Nov: Sutton Bonnington - 15 Red legged Partridges along Hungary Lane opposite farm. Also 2 Redwings and numerous Fieldfares.
- Sun 20th Nov: Moorgreen Woods - Goldcrest [small foraging parties], Buzzard [coming in to roost - dusk.], 2 Crossbills.
- Sun 20th Nov: Clipstone Forest - c20 Common Crossbills.
- Sun 20th Nov: Clifton Grove - female Snow Bunting feeding in newly ploughed field near Beeston weir at 2.30 pm, it was last seen flying over the trent towards Attenborough and couldn't be relocated. Also 25 Corn Bunting , 70+Linnets and 19 Tree Sparrows feeding in the same area. 2 Stonechats on fence posts behind Holme pit and 4 calling Water Rail on Holme pit.
- Sun 20th Nov: Bestwood [Mill Lakes] - Buzzard, Fieldfare x 80 moving N, Siskin x 20, Great Spotted Woodpecker x 2, Snipe x 6.
- Sun 20th Nov: Attenborough - Lesser Redpoll, Fieldfare c150, Goldeneye x4[clifton pit], Stonechat[wheatear field], 4 Siskins [Delta Wood], Water Rail, 6 Goosanders [Works Pit], Red head Smew[Main Pond}, 3 Common Snipe[new mudflats.
- Sat 19th Nov: High Marnhan area - Fieldfare 400+, Redwing still in single figures plus a noticeable fall of Mistle Thrushes.
- Sat 19th Nov: Dunham on Trent Lakes - Pochard, Wigeon, Tufted, Mallard numbers grown in cold weather, 300 Black headed Gulls, 2 Snipe, 3 Dunlin, Redshank.
- Fri 18th Nov: Holme Pierrepont [Rowing Course] - Grey Wagtail, 2 Redshank
- Fri 18th Nov: Holme Pierrepont [Blotts Pit] - 2 Redshank, Scaup [female]
- Fri 18th Nov: Holme Pierrepont [A52 Pit] - 4 Redshank, 2 Golden Plover, c.1500 Wigeon

- Sun 13th Nov: Sutton in Ashfield - 12 - 14 Grey Partridge feeding in paddocks Stoneyford Road, Sutton in Ashfield next to entrance to Brierley Forest Park, at around 9.20am.
- Sun 13th Nov: Sutton Bonington - 2 Bullfinchs in trees by railway bridge, 3 Red legged Partridges north of road. Hungary Lane, 1030.
- Sun 13th Nov: Mill Lakes, Bestwood - Whooper Swan, 1 through low NE at 8:30am
- Sun 13th Nov: Lound - Hen Harrier - ringatil over sheep fields. 2 Whooper Swans [Chainbridge Pit]. Long tailed Duck [still at Tiln GP]. Pink-footed Goose - 18 at Tiln then flew to Neatholme, 20 Red-crested Pochard [Chainbridge NR Scrape], Dunlin [Chainbridge NR Scrape], Buzzard [Clayworth Common]. Lots of good passerines, including Bullfinches, Redpolls and Coal Tits. Also a Peregrine Falcon over Neatholme Scrape and The Willows (Clayworth Copse).
- Sun 13th Nov: Harlow Wood - 8 Crossbills.
- Sun 13th Nov: Clifton Grove - 2 skeins of Pink Footed Geese over Clifton Grove at 10.00-10.30am heading S/W 350+ birds in total. 5 Stonechats in the area, 2 by Beeston Weir, 2 on track from the weir to Clifton Wood and 1 on Barton Hills. Good numbers of Siskin and 2 Lesser Redpoll in alders behind Clifton Wood.
- Sun 13th Nov: Bassingfield - White Stork seen afternoon, on flooded field at Bassingfield by the Grantham canal. Single bird amongst group of Mute Swans.
- Sun 13th Nov: Attenborough - drake Scaup [Church Pond], Black tailed Godwit [Clifton Pit], 4 Snipe
- Sun 13th Nov: Attenborough - Drake Scaup[church pond],Black Tailed Godwit[clifton pit],Stonechat x2[sth of river,Barton],Buzzard x3,Willow Tit x4,R.C.Pochard[church pond].
- Fri 11th Nov: West Leake - Merlin, 11.30am
- Fri 11th Nov: Attenborough - Lecoustic Black Headed Gull[barton flash],Y.L.Gull[sail pit].
- Thu 10th Nov: Netherfield Lagoons - 2 Red crested Pochards, Aythya Hybrid [m.], c250 Golden Plover, 37 Redwings, 5 Meadow Pipits [over], Peregrine Falcon [adult] 2 Stonechats [male + juv ?--- Fishing Pit].
- Thu 10th Nov: Lound - ringtail Hen Harrier.
- Thu 10th Nov: Attenborough[Trent Meadows] - 2 Stonechats [male and female].
- Wed 9th Nov: Hoveringham - First winter Arctic Tern on the big pit still.
- Wed 9th Nov: East Leake - 5 Little Grebes on pool by footpath to Rempstone via gravel workings. Also Jay,Yellow Hammer,11 Red Legged Partridges and c20 Long Tailed Tits.
- Wed 9th Nov: Brierley Park - 2 Chiffchaffs, c40 Lesser Redpolls.
- Wed 9th Nov: Attenborough - 3 Treecreeper, 7 Goldcrest, Good views of hunting Sparrowhawk.
- Wed 9th Nov: Attenborough N.R. - Black-tailed godwit,lesser spotted woodpecker, yellow-legged gull,c.10 siskin,3 buzzards.
- Tue 8th Nov: Gringley Carr - 2 Hen Harriers (male and female).
- Mon 7th Nov: Netherfield - 10.15a.m. Mixed flock of Starling, Lapwing and circa 450 Golden Plover on the ploughed field to the left as you approach the Lagoons. About 11a.m. many of the birds flew and lots of the Lapwing and Golden Plover settled on the shallow lagoon nearest the shops. Also flock of long-tailed tits, about 20 Goldfinches, 4 redwings (on the berries parallel to railway line). Female scaup(?) still present (on the lagoon nearest the Trent) or is it a hybrid? Tends to keep head under wing for ages. Wigeon, Pochard, Teal, Tufted Duck, Mallard, Gadwall, Ruddy Duck, Great and Little Grebe, Coot, Moorhen.
- Mon 7th Nov: Hoveringham - Arctic Tern - 1 Hoveringham Railway Pit at Dusk (presumed same bird) as previously reported.
- Mon 7th Nov: Holme Pierrepont - Buzzard
- Mon 7th Nov: Attenborough - Kingfisher, 20+ Mistle Thrushes and 3+ Egyptian Geese, also Bittern in the morning flying over the Delta reedbed.
- Mon 7th Nov: Attenborough - Female Lesser Spotted Woodpecker[excavating nest hole,near Delta Gate],Stonechat[wheatear field].
- Sun 6th Nov: Holme Pierrepont - Grey Phalarope in the evening around dusk on the A52 pit.
- Sun 6th Nov: High Marnham - 50 Fieldfares, 8 Redwings, 30 Skylarks on stubble, 50 Grey Partridges (not thought to be locally released).
- Sat 5th Nov: Silverhill Wood - c2000 Woodpigeon south over the old Silverhill Pit Top between 0700-0730. in groups of c20, up to c200 c50 Fieldfare same direction and c40 Skylark s/west
- Sat 5th Nov: Netherfield Lagoons - Common Crane present in the morning, flew off North west.
- Sat 5th Nov: Netherfield Lagoons - 3 Snipe, 5 Golden Plover, 5 Siskin
- Sat 5th Nov: Hickling - 2 peregrines on pylons 12pm at Bridge 31, Grantham Canal towards Harby. Flew off towards Kinoulton. Also kingfisher and large flocks of gulls, corvids, starlings and winter thrushes.
- Sat 5th Nov: Colwick CP - c.20 Siskin, Mallard with c8 day - old chicks
- Sat 5th Nov: Attenborough - Female Lesser spotted Woodpecker [Delta Wood gate], 3 Water Rail [Delta and Works Pit], 20 Golden Plover [overflying].
- Fri 4th Nov: Tin - The immature/female Long-tailed Duck is still present today 4/11/05 at Tiln GP's, Nottinghamshire. (via T. Tomlinson). Directions for the bird as follows:- Access by walking c.1.5 miles north along the west side of the River Idle bank from Hallcroft Pit on the northern edge of Retford. Look east across the river to view the large flooded pit at SK696842.
- Fri 4th Nov: Colston Bassett - Great grey Shrike on lane between Long Clawson and Colston Bassett 2.30pm
- Fri 4th Nov: Attenborough N.R. - Lesser spotted woodpecker near delta gate,2 lesser redpoll,7 siskin,5 ruddy duck,7 goldeneye,buzzard.
- Thu 3rd Nov: Saxondale Island - Large Crane species, 11.30am Saxondale Island flying South toward Cotgrave.
- Thu 3rd Nov: Nottingham - 2 Peregrines roosting on Newton Building, Nottingham Trent University at 4.50pm
- Thu 3rd Nov: Barton-in-Fabis - Barn Owl seen hunting over fields behind Branshill Wood seen from the A453
- Wed 2nd Nov: Tiln - Long-tailed Duck still on the gravel pits.
- Wed 2nd Nov: Hoveringham - First winter Arctic Tern still present.
- Wed 2nd Nov: Gamston - One Red-crested pochard (male) seen at Grantham Canal
- Wed 2nd Nov: Attenborough - Stonechat[wheatear field],R.C.Pochard[church],Unfortunately no sign of R.N.Grebe's.
- Wed 2nd Nov: Attenborough - 3 Water Rail, several small flocks of Redwing and Fieldfare moving through. Common Darter in the Delta.
- Tue 1st Nov: Tiln - The immature/female Long-tailed Duck is still present for its fourth day at Tiln GP's. Access by walking c.1.5 miles north along the west side of the River Idle bank from Hallcroft Pit on the northern edge of Retford. Look east across the river to view the large flooded pit at SK696842. Kingfisher also present.
- Tue 1st Nov: Netherfield Lagoons - Female Scaup seen at about 15.00hrs this afternoon.
- Tue 1st Nov: Attenborough - 2 Red-necked Grebes on Works Pond South of the island near gravel workings-staying close in to the bank.-1330. Chiffchaff, Kingfisher [Wetmarsh], Bullfinch and Willow Tit by delta gate. 3 Buzzards, Little Grebe, 7 Goldeneye, a few Redwing and Fieldfare.
