Mon 28th Feb: Wollaton Park - Lots of Redwing, numerous Jay, Fieldfare and Mistle Thrush. Also Nuthatch, Great Spotted Woodpecker and Green Woodpecker.
Mon 28th Feb: Bilborough, Nottingham - 100 Waxwings and 40+ Redwings, at the entrance to the Denewood Centre, Denewood Crescent. The Waxwings were still there at 3.30pm.
Mon 28th Feb: Attenborough - two Bitterns from the hide this afternoon at 2.20 pm.
Mon 28th Feb: Attenborough - c30 Waxwings [Old car park], 2 Treecreepers.
Sun 27th Feb: Welbeck Great lake - 7 Whooper Swans, with adult Caspian Gull mid afternoon.
Sun 27th Feb: Sutton Lawn Park - 100 + Brambling, 100 Waxwings until 11:00 then flew of in direction of Sutton Town Centre.
Sun 27th Feb: Nuthall - Male Blackcap [Mornington Crescent]

Sat 26th Feb: Kingsmill Reservoir - 1 near adult summer Mediterranean Gull A.M. (different from adult summer that was seen last weekend).Also a full summer adult in the afternoon til dusk.

Fri 25th Feb: Attenborough - Bittern from Bund[08.30],Two displaying Drake goldeneye[clifton pit],but rest of time spent dismayed at devastation caused along the Trent bank,from the Bund to the Wheatear field,by some Digger drivers on HELL plates.[please inform incoming warblers,and locals,to find another abode]
Wed 23rd Feb: Dunham-on-Trent Lakes - Oystercatcher, Redshank, Goldeneye and large numbers of Wigeon, Pochard, Tufted Duck and Great crested Grebes.
Wed 23rd Feb: Colwick Country Park - Water Rail,still showing well by the green railings + Red-Crested Pochard on the Loop + 3 Red-Head Smew on the Hall Lake.
Tue 22nd Feb: Colwick Park - Goldeneye on West Lake. Redshank on Loop Bank of Colwick Lake - 12 noon ( Where new grass is being sown ).
Mon 21st Feb: Wollaton Park - Lesser spotted Woodpecker drumming
Mon 21st Feb: Colwick CP - One drake and one female Red-crested Pochard. Water Rail, Loop Bank, best viewed at the Penstock Gate by the green railings.
Sun 20th Feb: Watnall - A Willow Tit, daily visitor since November to a local garden.
Sun 20th Feb: Skegby - 120 Golden Plover on Beck lane.
Sun 20th Feb: Langford Lowfields - At Langford Lowfields -- drake Green-winged Teal + 7 Pintail. Also in the general area, 17 Goosander, 32 Shelduck and Common Buzzard.

Sat 19th Feb: Attenborough - Goosander[30], Egyptian Goose[7], Chiff Chaff[SailingPit], Water Rail[Delta], also on the Delta, the Bittern showed,briefly, in the reed-bed at 1715.
Sat 19th Feb: Attenborough - 30 Wigeon grazing south of river; 3 Bullfinches; 12 Goosander; Kingfisher; Teal, Shoveler,Gadwall throughout.
Fri 18th Feb: Welbeck Raptor Watchpoint - 2 Goshawk displaying, 15 Buzzard, 1 Peregrine.
Fri 18th Feb: Ruddington - 150+ Golden Plover with a few Lapwings mixed in, in the fields south of Wheatcroft Island at midday.
Fri 18th Feb: Nottingham - 18 Waxwings-St Nicholas\'s churchyard, Maid Marian Way, Nottingham City Centre 2.00pm

Fri 18th Feb: Clumber Park - Great grey Shrike and at least 5 Bramblings on the south Lawn.
Fri 18th Feb: Budby South - At least 10 Woodlark, including 7 singing - very noisy and much competitive display flight.

Thu 17th Feb: High Marnham - 110 Golden Plover, 3 pair Green Woodpecker, 2 Whooper Swans overflying.
Wed 16th Feb: Nottingham - 33 Waxwings on Hucknall Road, near BP Garage @ 1.45PM. Chased off by Mistle Thrush, but located 5 mins later feeding on Rowan berries on Hadyn Road near to Mansfield Road junction.
Wed 16th Feb: Mansfield - Skylark singing @ Sherwood Forest Golf Club @ 1145
Wed 16th Feb: Costock/Wysall - 15 X Greylag Geese and Grey Heron--Small pond in field between Costock and Wysall.
Wed 16th Feb: Clifton - 40 Goldfinch and Siskin feeding in Alders near to Holme Pit. Lesser spotted Woodpecker in Clifton Village churchyard.

Tue 8th Feb: Welbeck Raptor Watch Point - Caspian gull present for just 5 mins at around 1300hrs. It came from,and departed to, the West ie up the valley away from Clumber Park.

Sun 6th Feb: Attenborough - 2 Jack Snipe showed well this a.m.from the hide, + 6 Common Snipe also the 4 Pink-feet still at Barton-in-Fabis.

Sat 5th Feb: Hoveringham Sailing Pit - Mediteranean gull x 1. Adult showing quite a lot of black hood. Iceland gull x 1. Prob 2nd winter Tawny owl x 1. Showing in tree on other side of sailing pit. green sandpiper x 1, seen briefly on opposite shore.
