- Tue 23rd Aug: Clifton Estate (Nottingham) - Male Hobby at around 16.10 chasing small birds. About a mile out side Clifton Estate heading towards Gotham

- Thu 18th Aug: Netherfield - c49 Shoveler, 370 Lapwing, Garganey [f.] Dunlin [singleton] + Common & Holly Blues + Common Darters, 4 Migrant Hawkers & 1 Black-Tailed Skimmer.
- Thu 18th Aug: Lound - Little Egret - 1 still present (3rd day?) on Chainbridge Nature Reserve from viewpoint. Peregrine - 1 imm Neatholme Pits area. Whinchat - 1 juvenile near Neatholme Bridge. Marsh Harrier - 1 immature/female along river. Also Common Tern, 3 Red-crested Pochard and 7 Green Sandpipers on Chainbridge Nature Reserve Scrape.
- Thu 18th Aug: Colwick Country Park - Willow & Garden Warbler, Chiffchaff, Common Whitethroat and 2 Blackcaps [m.& f.] [ mostly in and around the migrant trap ]+ Azure & Red - Eyed Damselflies + Brown Wall [ stepping stones ]
- Wed 17th Aug: West Bridgford - Ring necked Parakeet over North Road , West Bridgford, Nottingham, 7 pm , flying northwards.
- Wed 17th Aug: Netherfield - c.22 Shoveler, Dunlin, Mediteranean Gull [ Ad.], Garganey [f,], Willow Warbler, Common Whitethroat
- Wed 17th Aug: Netherfield - Spoonbill (later thought to be an African Spoonbill) on the ash lagoons, then flew NW @ 8.20am.
- Wed 17th Aug: Kingsmill Reservoir - Adult Mediterranean Gull til 10:30 am at least.
- Wed 17th Aug: Attenborough - Black Tern[still on sailing pit]+Y.L.Gull,LRP[clifton pit].
- Tue 16th Aug: Welbeck - Osprey fishing.
- Tue 16th Aug: Owthorpe - A male Reeve's Pheasant. On the road between the A46 and Owthorpe, just before "S" bend at top of hill.
- Tue 16th Aug: Clifton Grove - 2 Turtle Dove on telegraph wires behind Holme pit, 1 Hobby hawking dragonflys [Holme Pit].
- Tue 16th Aug: Attenborough - Juv Black Tern on right hand side of sailing pit as you look towards the visitor centre from 1915-2000, doing circuits back and forth, intermittently out of view and occasionally coming as close as the visitor centre. 2 adult Egyptian Goose with chick, Numerous Common Terns. And Cricket legend Graham Gooch jogging past Chilwell Retail Park in Essex CCC tracksuit!

- Wed 10th Aug: Hucknall - Large flock of House Martins (app 100) over Hucknall golf course, Wigman Road at about 19:30
- Wed 10th Aug: Erewash Meadows - Little Egret [flew from the old Railway Embankment towards Jacksdale], 2 Crossbills flew West, Nightjar disturbed from the path alongside the railway line near the A610 Langley Mill by-pass.
