- Newark - c.700 Pink-footed Goose [2 skeins over town centre - c.450 at 09:30 and c.250 at 10:16].
- Nottingham - 1 Red-crested Pochard [drake with Mallards on canal behind Fellows, Morton and Clayton].

- Welbeck Lakes - Willow Tit, Common Buzzard.
- Beeston - Barn Owl [Nottingham Canal].
- Stoke Bardolph - 2 Little Egret [in dyke at the side of the road below the water treatment plant between Netherfield and Burton Joyce].

- Bennerley Marsh - 62 Eurasian Wigeon, 30 Eurasian Teal, 60 Northern Lapwing, 2 Jack Snipe, 90 Black-headed Gull, 2 Common Gull, Common Kestrel. Chat Corner: 3 Common Snipe, Meadow Pipit, Common Kestrel.
- Nottingham Canal - Chiffchaff, 7 Redwing.
- Wollaton Park - 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, Eurasian Nuthatch [numerous], 4 Jay [1 in woodland next to lake, 3 in gardens], c.200 Redwing [sports fields], Lake: 2 Common Gull, Black-headed Gull, Common Pochard, Eurasian Wigeon, Gadwall, Grey Heron.

- Cresswell - 2 Common Buzzards [being mobbed by a large falcon].
- Lambley - 3 Little Egret [by Cocker Beck].
Sun 7th Feb
- Clumber Park - 3 Hawfinch [near Chapel].
- Misson - 20 Northern Pintail [Slaynes Lane].
- Rufford Country Park - 1 Firecrest [walk away from the Ice House down the path opposite, follow a small muddy path on the right, before you reach Broad Ride. Virtually immediately on the left down this path are two conifers - Firecrest found here around 10:30], 3 Goldcrest, 2 Marsh Tit, 2 Treecreeper, 2 Jay, 3 Goosander [2 males and 1 female].
- Bennerley Marsh - 45 Eurasian Teal, 40 Eurasian Wigeon, 5 Northern Shoveler, 120 Northern Lapwing, 200 Black-headed Gull, 4 Common Gull, Yellow-legged Gull. Chat Corner: 5 Goosander [over], 2 Green Woodpecker, Common Kestrel.
- Gringley Carr & Idle Stop - 1 Merlin, 3 Short-eared Owl, Hen Harrier [female], 3 Common Buzzard, Barn Owl, 2 Common Kestrel.
- Oxton Estate - 50+ Northern Lapwing, 50+ Fieldfare, 10 Grey Partridge, 200 Pink-footed Goose [2 groups to west].
- Dorket Head - 150+ Northern Lapwing [field below brickworks].
- Bestwood Country Park - Mill Lakes: 100+ Lesser Redpoll, 50+ Siskin. Leen Pastures: 1 Woodcock, c.30 Lesser Redpoll, 200+ Siskin, 1 Reed Bunting.

- Welbeck Lakes - Mandarin Duck [male], 5 Goosander, Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Common Pochard.
Fri 5th Feb
- Hoveringham Gravel Pits - 1 Red-necked Grebe [still on Railway Lake and showing well], 1 Little Egret, 2 Pink-footed Goose [flew north-east], 3 Great Black-backed Gull, 20+ Redwing, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker.
- Bennerley Marsh - 70 Eurasian Wigeon, 35 Eurasian Teal, 5 Northern Shoveler, 3 Goosander, 65 Northern Lapwing, 70 Black-headed Gull, 3 Meadow Pipit, Green Woodpecker. Chat Corner: 2 Common Snipe, 2 Reed Bunting, 5 Skylark, 2 Common Kestrel, 2 Green Woodpecker, 10 Fieldfare, 150 Jackdaw, 9 Eurasian Teal [river Erewash]. North Marsh: 7 Common Snipe, Water Rail, 2 Goosander [over], Little Grebe.
- Eastwood - Tinsley Lane 28 Redwing, Merlin [male].

- Hoveringham Gravel Pits - Red-necked Grebe, 2 Little Egret, 4 Red-crested Pochard, 24 Common Goldeneye [including one female reported to look ‘slightly different’ to others with a thicker white line on body/head] .
- Rufford Country Park - Firecrest, 3 Treecreeper, Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Marsh Tit, Coal Tit, Jay.
