Sutton Bonington - Little Owl [on wire Melton Road].

Netherfield Lagoons - 1 Grasshopper Warbler [between Deep Pit and Large Gravel Pit], 2 Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Cuckoo [active around Deep Pit], 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Grey Wagtail [male].

Pleasley - Meden Trail: Nuthatch, Kingfisher.

Attenborough Nature Reserve - Ruddy Turnstone [Clifton Pit - water's edge left of Kingfisher hide], Cuckoo [on Barton Lane], Hobby.

Nottingham General Cemetery - 1 Spotted Flycatcher.

Kilvington - New Lake: 1 Dunlin, 1 Common Sandpiper.

Kings Mill Reservoir - Common Redshank [individual probing the mud at the western end], Blackcap [female in bushes near picnic area by railway line].

Cotgrave Country Park - Cuckoo, 5 Reed Warbler, 2 Willow Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Chiffchaff, Common Buzzard.

Stoke Bardolph - Sewerage Works Area: 3 Common Shelduck, Oystercatcher, 2 Common Whitethroat, 2 Yellowhammer.

Netherfield Lagoons - Large Gravel Pit: 90 House Martin, 2 Grasshopper Warbler. Deep Pit: Cuckoo, 4 Common Tern. Slurry Lagoon: Wood Sandpiper, 11 Gadwall.

King's Mill Reservoir - 1 Common Sandpiper [SW corner], 2 Egyptian Goose, 5 Northern Lapwing, 2 Northern Shoveler [pair], 1 Common Shelduck.

Kilvington - New Lake: 1 Grey Plover [summer plumage], 1 Sanderling, 1 Temminck's Stint, 1 Dunlin, 1 Common Greenshank, 2 Common Sandpiper.

Langford Lowfields - 1 Eurasian Wigeon [male].

Thu 15th May

Netherfield Lagoons - 1 Spotted Redshank [briefly put down on the Slurry Lagoon before being chased off by a pair of Oystercatcher], 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Grey Wagtail, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 1 Cuckoo, 1 Grasshopper Warbler [still reeling].

Wed 14th May

Nottingham General Cemetery - Hobby [over briefly chasing insects].

Kilvington - New Lake: 1 Common Greenshank.

Colwick Country Park - Loop Bank: 4 Garden Warbler, 2 Blackcap. West Lake: Brent Goose, Mandarin Duck, 3 Lesser Black-backed Gull [over], 3 Common Tern, 5 House Martin.

Tue 13th May

Budby Common - 3 Cuckoo, 1 Hobby, 2 Jay, 3 Tree Pipit, 2 Stock Dove, 6 Yellowhammer, 1 Common Kestrel, 1 Green Woodpecker, 4 Linnet. Adjacent Farmland: 2 Red-legged Partridge, 1 Yellow Wagtail.

Sun 11th May

Holme Pierrepont - A52 Pit: 4 Oystercatcher, 11 Northern Lapwing, Eurasian Wigeon, 2 Snow Goose [status unknown]. Middle Pond: 4 Gadwall, Common Tern.

Cotgrave Country Park - Cuckoo, 12 Linnet, Yellow Wagtail, 2 Garden Warbler, 4 Reed Warbler, 2 Sedge Warbler.

Hoveringham Gravel Pits - Washings Pit: 2 Yellow Wagtail. Farm Pit: Oystercatcher, 4 Yellow Wagtail, 4 Linnet. Sailing Lake: 2 Garden Warbler, 3 Reed Warbler, 2 Sedge Warbler. Field Flashes: 4 Common Shelduck, 3 Yellow Wagtail, 2 Grey Partridge, Red-legged Partridge. Railway Lake: 2 Common Shelduck, 3 Eurasian Wigeon, 2 Gadwall, 3 Oystercatcher, 2 Common Redshank, 5 Great Black-backed Gull, 2 Willow Warbler, Sedge Warbler.

Netherfield Lagoons - Slurry Lagoon: Hobby, 5 Gadwall, Argentine Blue-bill, 3 Sedge Warbler, 2 Reed Warbler. Deep Pit: Cuckoo, 2 Yellow Wagtail, 2 Common Tern [on platform], 2 Oystercatcher [adjacent field]. Cycle Path: 2 Garden Warbler, 2 Chiffchaff, 5 Common Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Blackcap. Viaduct: 30 Swallow, Grey Wagtail.

Stoke Bardolph - Sewerage Works Area: Wood Sandpiper, 3 Common Shelduck, Green Sandpiper, Common Sandpiper, Great Black-backed Gull.

Attenborough Nature Reserve - 4 Black Tern [Clifton Pit, mid-afternoon], 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Common Shelduck, 1 Eurasian Wigeon, 1 Eurasian Teal, 60 Common Tern.

Arnot Hill Park - 12+ Willow Warbler, Spotted Flycatcher.

Kilvington - New Lake: 4 Dunlin, 1 Common Sandpiper, 3 Black Tern [flew in at 11:00].

Attenborough Nature Reserve - Northern Shoveler, Eurasian Teal.

Hoveringham Gravel Pits - 2 Common Shelduck, 4 Oystercatcher, 10 Northern Lapwing, 9 Common Whitethroat, 5 Sedge Warbler, 4 Blackcap, 1 Garden Warbler, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 1 Reed warbler, 8 Yellow Wagtail.

Ruddington - 2 Common Buzzard [soaring over A60].

Mon 5th May

Bestwood Mill Lakes - 4 Common Buzzard [over].

Gotham Moor - 5 Common Buzzard [hunting the general area pm].

Attenborogh Nature Reserve - Grey Plover [over], Osprey [over - observed from Barton Lane], Greylag Goose [colour-ringed individual - presumed a genuine wild individual].

Holme Pierrepont - Skylarks NR: 5 Reed Warbler, 2 Sedge Warbler, 3 Blackcap, 2 Garden Warbler, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff. Blott's Pit: 3 Common Shelduck, 2 Eurasian Wigeon, 2 Cuckoo. A52 Pit: 2 Snow Goose [status unknown], 4 Common Shelduck, Common Pochard, Cuckoo, 7 Common Tern, Oystercatcher, Common Redshank, 2 Reed warbler, 2 Chiffchaff, Sedge Warbler, 3 Willow Warbler.

Cottam - River Trent Ponds: Black Tern.

Attenborogh Nature Reserve - c.13 Black Tern [3 on Clifton Pit from mid afternoon - still present in late evening. 10 also seen on Long Eaton Pit], Common Tern, Oystercatcher [Clifton Pit], Sedge Warbler, Garden Warbler, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Cuckoo [Delta Area], Reed Warbler, 1 Pink-footed Goose [opposite bank of River Trent with Greylags and Canada Geese], Northern Wheatear, Red-crested Pochard, Eurasian Wigeon.

Netherfield Lagoons - 1 Cuckoo, 6 Garden Warbler, 3 Grasshopper Warbler, 2 Ringed Plover, 1 Northern Wheatear [female], 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Argentine Blue-bill, 1 Common Buzzard, 14 Common Swift, 2 Common Shelduck, 3 Lesser Whitethroat.

Moorgreen Reservoir - 2 Grey Wagtail [feeding from dam wall].

Hoveringham Gravel Pits - Railway Lake: 2 Black Tern, 1 Common Sandpiper.

Kilvington - 6 Black Tern, 2 Sanderling, 3 Dunlin, 1 Common Sandpiper.

Holme Pierrepont - Blott's Pit: 3 Common Shelduck, 2 Eurasian Wigeon, Sedge Warbler, Blackcap. A52 Pit: 2 Snow Goose [status unknown], 2 Common Shelduck, Common Goldeneye [female], Common Buzzard, 3 Hobby, 3 Cuckoo, Whinchat, Grasshopper Warbler, 2 Garden Warbler, Common Whitethroat, 3 Willow Warbler, 5 Common Tern, Common Redshank.

Sat 3rd May

Arnot Hill Park - Blackcap, Garden Warbler, Common Whitethroat, Common Swift, Swallow.

Hoveringham Gravel Pits - Railway Lake: 2 Grey Partridge, Common Sandpiper, Common Redshank, 2 Oystercatcher, 10 Northern Lapwing, 7 Herring Gull, 5 Great Black-backed Gull, 2 Eurasian Wigeon, Sedge Warbler, 3 Common Whitethroat. New Workings Pit: Common Shelduck, Oystercatcher, 5 Linnet. Sailing Lake Flashes: 2 Common Shelduck.

Attenborough Nature Reserve - Tween Pond: Red-crested Pochard [male], Cattle Egret [observed from 06:00 until 08:15 on the Wheatear Field. Regular sightings throughout the day as it moved between the islands on the Tween Pond. Last seen 20:30 from the old car park looking back on Tween Pond], Whimbrel [over].

Fri 2nd May

Kings Mill Reservoir - 1 Yellow Wagtail [on sailing club jetty], 2 Grey Partridge [railway], 3 Linnet, 2 Reed Bunting, 2 Sedge Warbler.

Whatton - Ring Ouzel [in prison grounds, been around for over a week].

Kilvington - New Lake: 1 Sanderling, 1 Dunlin, 1 Common Greenshank.

Thu 1st May

Holme Pierrpoint - Blott's Pit 2 Common Swift, Sedge Warbler.

Nottingnham University - Jubilee Campus: 1 Sedge Warbler [deep in Typha], 1 Grey Wagtail [catching insects above the lake].

Attenborough Nature Reserve - 2 Oystercatcher [Wheatear Field and Clifton Pond].

Colwick Country Park - Orion Stretch: 3 Lesser Whitethroat, 4 Common Whitethroat. Trout Lake: Red-crested Pochard [male], Mandarin Duck, 5 Common Tern, 17 Common Swift. Migrant Trap: Garden Warbler, Willow Warbler, 2 Blackcap, Chiffchaff.

North Leverton - 1 Sparrowhawk [ringed individual on garden feeder].

King's Mill Reservoir - 2 Egyptian Goose, Barn Owl.
