Wed 28th Jun 2006 : Attenborough - Black Tern (Conneries Pond) Seen from 09:00, Still present c16:00.
Mon 26th Jun 2006 : Rainworth Waters - 1 Common Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk, Reed Buntings, and several Common Whitethroats.
Mon 26th Jun 2006 : Attenborough - Redshank,LRP x4[Tween].
Sun 25th Jun 2006 : Lound - Two Green Sandpiper on Chainbridge NR Scrape this evening.
Sun 25th Jun 2006 : Cossall - By the old Nottingham Canal, Redstart, 3 Common Whitethroats , Grasshopper Warbler reeling (in field at the bottom of Mill Lane). Also Hobby over Church Lane (again).
Sun 25th Jun 2006 : Attenborough - Green Sandpiper,LRP x4[Tween].
Sat 24th Jun 2006 : Netherfield - 9 Curlew [slurry lagoon], 3 Black-tailed Godwits (2 adults and one juvenile), 3 Garganeys, 1 Yellow Legged Gull, 1 Pochard (male), 1 Grasshopper Warbler, 1 Little ringed Plover, plus 5 Ringlet Butterflies, 4 Meadow Brown, Lots of damselflies and a few larger dragonflies.
Sat 24th Jun 2006 : Langford Lowfield - 2 Little Egrets, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Green Sandpiper
Sat 24th Jun 2006 : Collingham (New Workings) - 7 Little Ringed Plovers, 2 Ringed Plover, 1 Redshank.
Sat 24th Jun 2006 : Colingham Village - 1 Spotted Flycatcher.
Fri 23rd Jun 2006 : Lound - Two Green Sandpipers on Cross Lane and Chainbridge NR Scrape along with 2 Little ringed Plovers and single Ringed Plover.
Wed 21st Jun 2006 : Landford Lowfield - 2 Little Egret, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Green Sandpiper.

Sun 18th Jun 2006 : Netherfield - 2 Garganey, a pair, male allmost in full eclipse, female shows dark supercillium well, both on slurry lagoon, 1 Common Gull (juv), 3 Wigeon (all males), 1 Teal male, 5 Garden Warbler, 1 Yellow Legged Gull, 1 Grasshopper Warbler, 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 1 Brown Hare on Slurry Lagoon, plus 3 Painted lady butterflies, 1 Red Admiral, 2 Large Skipper, 2 Meadow Brown.
Sun 18th Jun 2006 : Gringley Carr - Turtle Dove 1. Red-legged Partridge 2. Curlew 2. Short-eared Owl 1.

Sat 17th Jun 2006 : Langford Lowfield - 1 Little Egret, 1 Hobby (1st sum.), 2 Avocets (male + female), 2 Ringed Plovers.
Sat 17th Jun 2006 : Collingham Village - 1 Spotted Flycatcher
Sat 17th Jun 2006 : Collingham (New Workings) - 8 Little Ringed Plovers, 4 Ringed Plovers, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Dunlin.
Sat 17th Jun 2006 : Attenborough - Avocet, Oystercatcher, Little Ringed Plover, Lapwing, Bar-Headed Goose (Presumed Feral) (Tween Pond Wader Scrape), Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Green Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Treecreeper, Cuckoo (Delta Area)
Thu 15th Jun 2006 : Netherfield Lagoons - At about10.12 am a Red Kite flew over the Slurry Lagoon and was mobbed by a Common Buzzard for nearly a minute, before it slowly made its way towards Gibb Hill on the Radcliffe side of the Trent. 1 male Wigeon, 1 Reeling Grasshopper Warbler on bank near small fishing pit, 1 Hobby, 2 Little Ringed Plovers, a build up of Lapwings and larger gulls on slurry pit, at least 5 Garden Warblers around the site in song, 1 Willow Tit. Lots of commoner Warblers, including Blackcap, Plenty of damselflies and Black tailed Skimmers, 1 Small Heath, a few skippers and lots of Common Blue.
Mon 12th Jun 2006 : Langford Lowfield - 2 Little Egrets, 1 Ringed Plover, 1 Green Sandpiper.
Mon 12th Jun 2006 : Collingham New Workings - c. 8 Little Ringed Plovers, 4 Ringed Plover, 1 Green Sandpiper.
Sun 11th Jun 2006 : West Bridgeford - Grey Wagtail, 8 - 10 breeding pairs of Sand Martins on the Trent by the Forest football ground.
Sun 11th Jun 2006 : Netherfield - 2 Teal (a pair) [slurry lagoon], 2 Oystercatchers, 3-5 Lesser Whitethroat in song, 2 Grasshopper Warblers in song, 1 Turtle Dove on slurry lagoon. Large concentrations of Common Blue butterflies on deep water lagoon, N/E bank. 1 Small Heath, Good numbers of Bee orchids in the area around the East end of the causeway and looking down the bank to the railway bank footpath. Final GOOD news the site has got official nature reserve status from last Friday, so please come down and enjoy the site when you can.

Sat 10th Jun 2006 : Holme Pierrepont (Blotts) - Hobby [10am], 2 Oystercatchers, Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Wigeon + Painted Lady & several female Black Tailed Skimmers.
Sat 10th Jun 2006 : Holme Pierrepont (A52 Pit) - Drake Wigeon, Female Goldeneye, 5 Pochard, 6 Gadwall, 2 Black Terns [moving east to west across the water-12:20 - 13:40].
Sat 10th Jun 2006 : Attenborough - Green Sandpiper, Lapwing (Works Pit), Little Ringed Plover, 3 Drake Teal, few Pochard (Tween Pond Scrape)
Fri 9th Jun 2006 : Attenborough - Red Kite[over Delta/Beeston end of reserve,10.15AM,heading NE.],LRP x3[tween],Cuckoo.
Thu 8th Jun 2006 : Rainworth Waters - 4 Common Buzzards flying together and at 0345hrs a Nightjar was heard near the sewage works
Thu 8th Jun 2006 : Kinoulton - Little Owl successfully hunting, Cuckoo singing at 9.30 pm, Common Buzzard
Thu 8th Jun 2006 : Dunham Lakes - Black necked Grebe on the Large lake.

Wed 7th Jun 2006 : Langford Lowfield - 2 Little Egrets (presumably the 2 from Collingham N.W.), 1 Common Redshank, 1 Little Stint (in non-breeding plumage)
Wed 7th Jun 2006 : Kinoulton - Male Bullfinch feeding young in garden behind church. Seemed to be picking buds off geranium.
Wed 7th Jun 2006 : East Leake - Little Owl perched on a telephone wires just past the British Gypsum works in East Leake on the road to Bunny[6.30pm]
Wed 7th Jun 2006 : Dunham Lakes - Black necked Grebe on large Lake.
Wed 7th Jun 2006 : Collingham (New Workings) - 2 Little Egrets (flew off early a.m.), 6 Ringed Plover, 8 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Dunlin
Wed 7th Jun 2006 : Attenborough - Pair Ringed Plover+LRP[tween],Juv Lesser Spotted Woodpecker[Bund],Buzzard.
Mon 5th Jun 2006 : Oxton, - Buzzard, Sparrowhawk (catching insects), 2 Meadow Pipits, Tree Creeper, 3 Jays.
Mon 5th Jun 2006 : Netherfield - 2 Yellow Wagtail on slurry pit, but no sign of Blue headed wagtail, but could be worth searching fields around Seven Trent land as one was seen a few weeks ago and may be same bird as at the weekend, 2 Grey Partridge, 1 Little Ringed Plover, Plenty of Common Blue Butterflies and Blue damselflies showing well.
Mon 5th Jun 2006 : Goosedale, Bestwood - 8 (2 juveniles) Tree Sparrows, Yellow Wagtail, 1 Sedge & Reed Warbler.
Mon 5th Jun 2006 : Edwinstowe - Greenfinch chasing male Sparrowhawk, 1.35pm. Juvenile Sparrowhawk hunting through gardens also female Mandarin Duck, in the Maun Valley just west of Edwinstowe
Mon 5th Jun 2006 : Cossall, - Hobby chasing Swallows over the paddocks, evening time.
Mon 5th Jun 2006 : Colwick CP - 2 Spotted Flycatchers [pair], 3 Lesser Whitethroats, Sedge Warbler, Chiffchaff + Common Whitethroats, Blackcaps, + Small & Large White, Orange Tip, Brimstone, Peacock, Speckled Wood & Common Blue Butterflies + Red Eyed Damselflies [Hall lake].
Mon 5th Jun 2006 : Attenborough - Ringed and Little Ringed plover,Hobby[works pond].
Sun 4th Jun 2006 : Sutton Bonington - 2 Tree Sparrows and Common Whitethroat, Landcroft Lane
Sun 4th Jun 2006 : Netherfield Lagoons - 1 Hobby over Radcliffe side of Trent, 2 Sanderlings, 1 Cuckoo, Lots of common warblers; Blackcap, Garden Warbler, Reed and Willow all showing well all over site. Marsh Orchids in full flower in reedbeds on Slurry Lagoon. Common Blue Butterflies in meadow areas and good numbers of damsel fly showing and larger dragonflies starting to emerge.
Sun 4th Jun 2006 : Kinoulton - Pair of Little Owls, Green Woodpecker near Vimy Ridge farm. Also Reed bunting and Yellowhammer by the canal.
Sun 4th Jun 2006 : Kinoulton - Hobby flying low over church towards Hickling around 9.45 am. Also Yellow wagtail and Sedge warbler along Grantham Canal. Several pairs of Tree sparrows all along the stretch from Hickling to Owthorpe, one pair now visiting garden near church daily amongst resident House sparrows.
Sun 4th Jun 2006 : East Leake - 2 Buzzards circling by A6006 near Stanford Hall.

Sun 4th Jun 2006 : Attenborough NR - Western Yellow Legged Gull [Works Pit], Female Scaup [main Pond], 3 Oystercatchers + 1 more over [Tween Pond], 2 Buzzards [displaying over Barton], 2 Cuckoos.
Sat 3rd Jun 2006 : Netherfield - Blue headed Yellow Wagtail on Slurry Lagoon around12.30 and later around 3.30 in the same area (flava sub-species), 4 Shoveler (all male), 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 1 Common Buzzard, 2 Little Ringed Plover.
Sat 3rd Jun 2006 : Langford Lowfield - 1 Little Egret, 3 Redshank
